In a world awash in words, which ones do we hear?
To what shall we pay attention? How might we attend more faithfully to the personal word God is addressing to us? These are questions for Advent as we prepare once again to make room for the Word who became flesh.

Our retreat begins on the evening of Sunday December 4, 20011 and concludes following lunch on Wednesday, December 7. Full details of the program will be provided upon registration.
Frank Griswold will provide reflections based on scripture and tradition that shape us. Barbara Braver, using the modalities of poetry, will seek to expand and root the reflections in our daily experience, and open the way for participants to share the scripture of their own lives. The retreat will be grounded in the rhythm of worship. Participants are encouraged to bring a poem or object that for them is revelatory of God’s mystery in their lives.
$399 for PTI Associates and $430 for all others.
This includes 3 nights accommodations at the Abbey, 9 meals and the retreat program.
Commuter registration is $300/$250 for associate members – prices are per person. The experience of this retreat is diminished if one is not in residence.

The balance is due by November 5, 2011. All cancellations after deposit will forfeit $50 service fee. No refunds of the full amount can be made unless your place is filled by someone on the waiting list.
